Pane Carasau (sometimes called Music Bread) is a traditional Sardinian flatbread. It is thin and crisp, usually in the form of a dish half a meter wide. It is made by taking baked flat bread, then separating it into two sheets which are baked again.
Drizzle them with olive oil, sprinkle over a little salt and warm them in the oven for 30 seconds - they make the best pre dinner snacking breads. They are also lovely eaten with cheese and honey or for a real treat, try grating a little pecorino over them and baking them or use different flavoured oils.
Ingredients: durum wheat, bran flour, water, yeast, salt.
Allergens: Wheat.

These flatbreads were very tasty and went so well with the passata and cheese and the basil oil on the top topped it off.

Love this, it’s so versatile. I even use it as a condiment, when a meal needs a bit of “poke”
A big fan of Somerset Foodie. Fantastic range of excellent quality products from around the globe.
These olives are delicious! They are a large olive and are a popular addition to tapas plates. I ordered 3 jars which arrived in good time and they were very well packaged. I would definitely recommend them!
Somerset Foodie has a really interesting selection of foods, and the mozzarella is delicious - local and ethical.
I always loved this place for two reasons: You will get the products you can’t find elsewhere and you will get a lot of free advice how to use them. This is how every shop should operate. You can’t ask for more.
