These tiny seeds from the plant Salvia Hispanica were highly prized by the Aztecs for their ability to provide sustainable energy. They are often referred to as a "superfood" being much denser in nutrients than other food.

Add to your juices or smoothies or mix with yogurt or oatmeal. A perfect addition to home made energy balls or simply sprinkled on a salad.

ALL Somerset Foodie raw ingredients are packed in 100% compostable bags with biodegradable paper labels. The trade off for caring about the planet is that our bags are slightly more fragile than you'll be used to, so we  recommend you pop the ingredients into a jam jar or tupperware when you get them home.
