Karimix's Madras Curry Paste is full of flavour. Ginger, coriander and cumin combine to make the perfect, traditional curry. Gluten free and suitable for vegetarians, it can be used in the usual manner, or it can be used to marinade meat or poultry, and then baked or cooked on the BBQ. On the hotter side, with a heat rating of hot.

Recipe for Indian Chicken Madras
Allergens: LACTOSE (Milk)
Ingredients: Rapeseed oil, spirit vinegar, onion, water, salt, cumin, coriander, chillies, yoghurt powder (milk), paprika, spices, ginger, sugar, turmeric, garlic, coconut, herb.
We aim to process every order within 24hrs (Mon-Fri). Orders placed after 12pm will generally be processed the following day.
Once your order has been packed, standard delivery takes 48hrs once it leaves our warehouse, we do have an express option which is 24hrs and is recommended when ordering any chilled items.
We can mail order ambient and chilled ingredients to the whole of the UK, including all of The Scottish Highlands and Islands and Northern Ireland.
Unfortunately, we cannot mail order frozen items.
All shipments are tracked, we use a combination of The Royal Mail and DPD, tracking numbers are emailed to you for each order.
Our shipping rates depend on the weight of your order and start from £3.99 shipping rates are calculated at checkout.
All the packaging we use is compostable or just paper and cardboard that can easily
be disposed of in your kerbside recycling. (Chilled items are sent in temperature controlled pouches with ice packs
which are not compostible but can be reused).
We found Somerset Foodie as a happy accident whilst looking for Losada Olives. Once on the website we discovered the array of inspirational recipes to try, hence leading to another order for ingredients. We have tried numerous recipes and they are all delicious and so have happily shared details of the website with our foodie friends.

Ben was very proactive to follow up my online order witha phone call to check I realised how the products were dispatched. And the mozerella had no side effects on my son who is lactose intolerant to the wet mozerella. So win win. Thankyou

First time making a Thai Green Curry with the Maesri green curry paste, the coconut milk, Thai Jasmine rice & sweet chilli sauce all sourced from yourselves. We were 8 people dining and I wanted something easy to prepare. I did a dummy run the week before and found the paste to be so flavoursome with a nice kick that suited me and my husband but decided to reduce the amount of paste used to tone down the spice a little bit to ensure it suited all palettes. The second time of cooking I actually made it the day before, slowly reheated the next day to avoid the coconut milk splitting and added precooked al dente green beans (substituted instead of the recommend eggplant) to heat through just before serving. It was absolutely delicious with very authentic flavour, one guest said it’s the best Thai curry he’s ever tasted and he’s 80! I’ve shared your company details so hope you get a few more customers - thank you for another go to dish 😊
