O-Med's Arbequina Extra Virgin Olive Oil is a single-varietal oil made from Arbequina olives grown on the family's groves in Ácula, in the Granada province of Andalusia. Founded in 2010 by Juande and Paula, O-Med presses this smooth, delicately fruity oil using cold-extraction methods that preserve its natural aroma - flavours of green banana and apple, with none of the peppery bite of a bolder variety like Picual. This 250ml tin is a practical size for the kitchen, and the metal packaging protects the oil from light, one of the main causes of an olive oil losing its freshness over time.

Arbequina's mild, fruity character makes it the more delicate of O-Med's two olive oils, better suited to dishes where a punchy, peppery oil would compete rather than complement. Use it over salads, drizzle it on white fish or seafood, or - because of its sweetness – even in baking, where it adds moisture and a subtle fruitiness to cakes.
